Missing You - Meg Cabot writing as Jenny Carroll

This is the last book in the "Missing" series, and also my favorite one. For those who haven't read the previous books in this series, this is about Jessica Mastriani, who as a teenager, had been struck by lightning on her way home from school. She was glad she didn't die but something surely did happen. She developed psychic powers which gave her the ability to hunt down missing people. Since then Jessica has been nicknamed "Lightning Girl".

The book begins with Jessica - now aged 19 and into Julliard- telling us how her job of hunting down dead people and terrorists in Afghanistan had taken a toll on her. After long spells of sleepless nights Jessica seemed to have lost her powers. She wasn't upset at all. This was something she'd longed for - a normal life. But Jessica's normal life blew up when she began to feel she was getting her powers back. She started having nightmares. She thought this was the worst that could ever happen, until her ex-boyfriend turns up at her doorstep one morning. He leaves her with the task of finding his missing sister.

As the story proceeds a series of events unfold. Will Jess succeed in finding the missing teen? Will she be able to make the most important decision of her life? Will she ever find true love? Will she finally listen to her heart and embrace the new life or get back to her same old past? Read the book to find what happens. For those who read crime fiction and teenage fiction this book is a must read. I would rate it 8.5/10
